Biography
I've been the Media Specialist here at Rural Vale since 2001. I received my B.S. from East Tennessee State University and my MLS from East Carolina University. I have lived in the Rural Vale community my entire life. My husband, Jimmy and I have a son and daughter and our son and his wife have blessed up with a beautiful granddaughter. As a family we love going camping, fishing and going to the beach. For 11 years I coached the Lady Panthers basketball team and during that time we made history in Monroe County by Winning the State TNT 1A basketball tournament. What a Proud moment for our community! I'm blessed to work with such wonderful co-workers that care deeply for each child that attends Rural Vale. Our library provides wonderful books from Kindergarten through eight grade. Please feel free to drop in and visit the library anytime.
