RVES Library Distance Learning Opportunities

 
A Big hello to all of my RVES Panthers! I miss seeing you in the Library for our weekly Library enrichment class. I hope all of you are staying safe, happy, and healthy during this time. Below I have listed some activities for you to check out while you’re doing Virtual learning from home. Hope you have fun with them! Students if you have any questions or concerns about how to do something please go to STUDENT RESOURCES and you will find video tutorials on HOW TO use- CLEVER, Google account, GMAIL, Google classroom.

1. Storyline Online is a great place to find online books for kids. Storyline Online can be accessed at https://www.storylineonline.net/. Pick a book of your choice!
2. Read books of your choice. It can be books at your house or those on online. Have someone read to or with you as well.
3. Explore the programs on your CLEVER
4. myON books is fairly new to Clever. This was added during distance learning. This program has access to online books and articles. Log into Clever then click on onMY books.
5. Currently AR will be available upon an appointment only at school. Please call or email or DOJO for appointment.
6. Junior Library Guild Digital- https://www.juniorlibraryguild.com/jlgdigital-free- provides free access to ebooks and audiobooks. You DO NOT need a special username or password to use this resource. Go to the above link. Click on the orange button for the stream you would like to access: Elementary Stream, Middle School Stream, and go from there.
7. Let’s Talk about it book club. I created the club so students can share what books they love to read or just give thoughts about a book that they have read. Check out the above link for directions.
