About Your Teacher

My name is Hope West. I teach first grade!  It's such an exciting year of learning to read and do math! I graduated from Tennessee Wesleyan College with a bachelor’s degree in 2008. I began teaching at Rural Vale in August of 2008.  I received my master’s degree as a Reading Specialist from Walden University in 2011. I am married to Josh West and we are blessed with two children: Levi and Lydia. We live in the Epperson Community of Coker Creek.
