BIOGRAPHY
My name is Brittany Powell and I have been teaching for ten years. I am currently employed as the Exceptional Education Teacher at RVS. I am passionate about my work and find great joy in it. My main goal is to equip my students with effective communication skills, valuable knowledge, and positive character traits that will benefit them throughout their lives.
I hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Services/Business Management. Additionally, I have completed my Master's in Elementary Education and gained practical experience through my student teaching at Rural Vale School. Over the years, I have taught various grade levels including first, second, and third grade.
Outside of my professional life, I prioritize spending quality time with my family. My husband Kyle and I are blessed with three children. Annabella is currently a freshman at Tennessee Wesleyan University, pursuing a degree in occupational therapy. Our second child, Aubrey, is a sophomore at Tellico Plains High School and is actively involved in soccer. Lastly, we have our energetic four-year-old, Crew, who attends Madisonville Primary Pre-K. Despite our busy schedules, we always make it a point to enjoy activities together such as watching movies, going for walks, and cooking.
