Biography

My name is Krista Miller. I graduated from Tellico Plains High in 2007. Here I was part of Future Teachers Club and a Cheerleader. Go Bears! After high school, I went on to complete one year at Hiwassee College and graduated in 2009 from Cleveland State Community College with an Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education. Afterwards, I went on to TN Wesleyan to earn a Bachelors in K-6 Education. While at TN Wesleyan I enjoyed time cheering for the TWC Bulldogs and being a member of Alpha Xi Gamma. 

After college, I began working at Rural Vale and then Tellico Plains Jr. High before taking a short break to raise my children at home. Now, I'm happy to be back in the classroom. I've taught grades 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 5th grade math. I've also worked with all grades K-8th as an Exceptional Education Assistant. I am also Head Cheer Coach at RVS. 

I've been married for 13 years, and we have 3 wonderful children. I enjoy watching my children play sports, traveling to new places, interior decorating, cheering on our local Bears and Panthers and attending church.
